Work Conditions: Work is primarily indoors and sedentary in nature. Travels to client locations on occasion.
Duties of Position: Supports the Account Executive through inside sales (to existing accounts), project management, preparation of proposals and reports. Participates in developing marketing content and communications. Operations responsibilities include record-keeping and logistical support for instruction.
Acts in an inside sales role to assist with client contract renewal, client management and communications.
Responsible for project management of client accounts with Account Executive. Enacts the terms set forth in HBS training contracts. Acts as liaison for special projects, research, and sourcing people and/or materials for various trainings. Maintains records in a CRM.
Acquires instructional materials for classes in consultation with instructors and clients. Maintains appropriate records needed for preparation of invoices.
Acts as liaison to HBS client base utilizing customer databases.
Assists in preparing and editing various HBS reports for Harper College.
Writes/prepares materials for communication to clients/potential clients to market HBS programs and services. Works with Harper Marketing Services to write copy and leverage social media to market HBS programs and services.
Primary project manager for HBS public/marketing events.
Assists with instructor/consultant orientation related to record keeping, procedures and other information specific to their assignments. Prepares and sends consultant/instructors class rosters, evaluation forms (student and client), and other materials as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements: Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certifications in Google and/or Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Experience Requirements: Two years’ experience in higher education, corporate training and/or business. Excellent communication and customer service skills, excellent organization, written and presentation skills are all required. Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities. CRM familiarity a plus.
