The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. You may check your status at any time by logging into jobs.harpercollege.edu with your username and password.
Job Description : Teach courses to prepare students for a career in web development. Instruct Web program students in some of the following courses: User Experience Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and JS frameworks like React), WordPress, motion graphics, and server-side scripting.
Education Requirements : Bachelor's Degree preferred. Some college credit required in a related field. Graduate degree required for some courses.
Experience Requirements : At least three years work experience in the web development field and 5 years teaching experience. Must be an effective, enthusiastic teacher committed to teaching web development skills at the community college level.
