Duties of Position: The Student Engagement Student Aide serves as the first point of contact for students, employees, and community members contacting the Student Engagement staff. Student Aide must be able to provide exceptional customer service in-person, via telephone, and through written and verbal communication. This position involves both working campus events and staffing the front desk of Student Engagement. Additional duties include assisting with office projects, having a strong understanding of the opportunities for students to engage with clubs and organizations, working an occasional evening or weekend events.
Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer)
Experience Requirements: Students with a friendly and outgoing personality tend to preform well in this role.
Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following hours:

8 AM - 4:30 PM
Tuesday
8 AM - 4:30 PM
Wednesday
8 AM - 4:30 PM
Thursday
8 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday
8 AM - 4:30 PM
Saturday
None
Maximum hours per week: 12 - 19

*A cover letter expressing interest in this role is required from applicants.
*Due to the nature of event set-up, implementation , and tear-down, students must be able to lift 15 lbs.
