Duties of Position: Will assist the Community Relation Manager and Outreach Specialists with campus tours, events and projects. Duties will include but are not limited to light data entry, filing, copying, assisting with school tour groups (primarily Fridays), assisting with tour and event preparation (creating packets or goody bags, assembling name badges, etc.) assist with workshops and information tables at community and school events, delivering event supplies to departments on campus, maintaining/restocking promotional items.

Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer) and MUST be eligible for Federal Work Study.

Experience Requirements: Limited experience required. Outreach specialists will train student aides. Experience in customer service, working with young students, planning events or volunteering is helpful.  Must be detail oriented and organized. Must be able to represent Harper professionally and appropriately with community members. Must be able to represent community relations professionally with Harper students, faculty and staff. Bilingual a plus but not required.

Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability.  Must have availability to work Friday 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.. Some evenings and weekends may be necessary.

Maximum hours per week: 20
