Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale

Schedule Information: Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. Job Description:

• Teach both credit and community education students in 100 and 200-level applied instruction lessons in trumpet
• Encourage student participation at repertory classes and student recitals
• Prepare students for and participate in juries

Education Requirements: Master’s degree in music or equivalent with demonstrated pedagogical skills and extensive experience as a performing professional musician or equivalent.

Experience Requirements: Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience teaching at the secondary and/or college levels.
