Duties of Position: Placing photograph negatives into sleeves and counting the number of images.

Digitizing archival materials as assigned using scanner provided and conducting quality control checks of resulting images.

Transferring archival materials to proper archival storage containers and labeling each box and folder appropriately.

Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer)

Experience Requirements:  Student should be familiar with scanners and Microsoft Office applications. Experience working or volunteering in libraries or archives is a bonus. Detail oriented, flexible, able to follow instructions. Good penmanship is important.

Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability.  Must have some availability to work during the following hours:

Sunday

 

Monday

9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Tuesday

 

Wednesday

9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Thursday

 

Friday

 

Saturday

 

Maximum hours per week: 10
