Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability.  Must have some availability to work during the following hours:

Sunday

 

Monday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Thursday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Friday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Saturday

 

Maximum hours per week: 20 hours

Duties of Position: Front desk reception and customer service

Answer phones and assist callers

Provide information regarding High School Equivalency (HSE) and English Language Acquisition (ELA) programs.

Direct inquiries to the AED webpage for detailed information and registration as needed.

Data entry

Distribute mail

File and maintain student records.

Organize and restock office supplies.

Assist faculty and staff with clerical projects.

Assist with various AED events.

Education Requirements:  In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer).

Experience Requirements: Basic keyboarding skills, some knowledge of Microsoft Office software, ability to multitask and handle interruptions well. Prior office or customer service experience preferred.

Special Notes: Bilingual candidate is a plus
