Work Conditions:  Work is primarily indoor and sedentary in nature. 

Duties of Position:

  • Physical to digital document conversion (cutting, scanning, binding).
  • Content accessibility remediation.
  • Multimedia captioning and transcription.
  • Website, document, and media accessibility evaluation.
  • Generating evaluation reports.
  • Assisting faculty and staff seeking information and resources about content accessibility, via phone, email, or in person.
  • Data recording of the work produced.
  • Maintaining literature and resources.
  • Clerical duties (filing, faxing, scanning, making copies).
  • Other administrative support duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma required, Associate Degree preferred.

Experience Requirements:

Fundamental knowledge of document and media file types, knowledge of HTML, proficient use of Adobe and Microsoft Office software, and knowledge of multimedia editing and playback principles.

Ability to demonstrate reliability and punctuality. Careful attention to detail, good customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and have strong computer skills. Background in Information Technology or computer science course work or experience is preferred but is not necessary.
