Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability.  Must have some availability to work during the following hours:




700 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Maximum hours per week: 20

Duties of Position: Assist with operations of dental hygiene clinic which include:

Sterilization room: sterilizing instruments (operating autoclaves), putting away sterilized instruments, cleaning & replenishment of ultrasonic baths, basic cleaning of sterilizers.

Stocking supplies in “grab n’ go” and mobile carts.

Preparing unit dose supply bags.

Preparing xray trays.

Inventorying supplies.

Confirming return of borrowed department instruments.

Assisting students and faculty as needed.

Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer)

Experience Requirements: Any of the following are a plus:

  • Infection control procedures in a medical environment
  • Familiarity with Word and/or Excel
