Schedule Information

Monday - Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Work Conditions

Work is primarily indoor and sedentary in nature.  Work may involve lifting equipment, up to 50 lbs. of force on an occasional basis, and moving about in the office complex. 

Duties of Position

Responsible for providing secretarial services and assisting Student Involvement with daily front office operations and club & organization logistics. 

Oversees day-to-day operations for the front office of Student Involvement. Answering telephones, messages, scheduling appointments, triaging inquiries and concerns, key check out and room access.  Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Students, makes recommendations and implement changes in office procedures and practices

Supports Student Involvement in the hiring, training, and scheduling of student aides for the front office. Submits onboarding/off boarding paperwork and personnel action notices for employees; orders business cards and nametags.

Assists with onboarding/off boarding paperwork for all club and orgs advisors, the Veteran’s Center staff and student aides

Responsible for processing room reservation requests, table requests, food order requests, travel reservations for club advisors,

Processes purchase orders and check requisitions for Student Involvement and student clubs & organizations.

Maintains and updates current and accurate Student Involvement procedural manuals.

Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Students, submits web services requests for changes on the web site for clubs and organizations

Responsible for maintaining office supply inventories and ordering supplies for the office.

Schedules appointments for Legal Guidance services. 

Performs related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of keyboarding skills of 55 wpm.

Experience Requirements

Two years of general office experience plus proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel software required.
