Job Description: The instructor will teach classes in American Sign Language (Levels I to V) and Deaf Culture. The Dept. of World Languages offers fall, spring and summer courses. Courses are offered during the day, evening, online and via distance learning.
Successful candidates teach in an interactive and engaging way.

Education Requirements: Master’s degree in discipline or related areas (Master’s in Linguistics, Sign Language Studies, Sign Language Education, Interpreter Education, Deaf Education); ASLTA (American Sign Language Teachers Association) certification or ASLPI (ASL Proficiency Interview) Level 4.
Experience Requirements: Successful college-level teaching experience in American Sign Language; ASL fluency and cultural knowledge.
