Schedule Information: Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 2:30pm, Friday 11:30am - 4:30pm

Work Conditions: Work is primarily indoor and sedentary in nature. Evenings and Saturdays during peak times.
Duties of Position:
Assess daily needs of the Center and pivot service based on those needs as well as communicating those needs to service providers within the center, i.e. distributing calls, monitoring drop-in/walk-in traffic and peak time volume.
Screens and provides information using several different software and technology platforms in person and over the phone.
Supports students daily in the scheduling of appointments with advisors/counselors using scheduling software.
Responsible for maintenance of student records in student information system as it relates to holds, test results, and waivers.
Accesses, researches and prints student information from student systems for advisors/counselors.
Generates and distributes transfer guides, major guides and informational packets. Provides students with other resource materials as needed. Responsible for monitoring form availability and presentation within the Center to make sure the most relevant and up to date information is available for students and staff alike.
Tracks student contacts and monitors appointment and staffing availability and needs.
Distributes, compiles and tallies comments from center, counselor and advisor evaluations.
Responsible for data entry and filing as needed, including critical document imaging of educational planning records associated with assigning new students to an advisor/counselor within the case management model.
Requests materials for advising and orientation programs as needed.
Supports Administrative Secretary with projects and reporting including operational statistics and End of Year Reports.
Provides reception for the Center. Greets visitors, answers telephone, takes and distributes messages and provides information as appropriate.
Follows privacy and confidentiality guidelines with student record information.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience Requirements: One year general office experience required. Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using different technology/software platforms and familiarity with student systems preferred.
