Schedule Information: Monday - Friday, flexible. This is a grant-funded position.
Hours Per Week: 29
Work is primarily indoor and sedentary in nature.
Duties of Position:
Manages and monitors daily operations of Veterans Center and services for student veterans.
Coordinates and implements programming to increase student engagement opportunities for veterans.
Collaborates with Center for Student Involvement to determine appropriate engagement opportunities for student Veterans.
Evaluate and assess effectiveness of program offerings for veterans.
Serve as a referral source for student Veterans
Collaborates with various departments to streamline support services for veterans (i.e. Tutoring Center, Writing Center, Access and Disability Services, etc.)
Schedules workshops with local business leaders to support student engagement with the community
Schedule office hours for Financial Aid, One Stop, Advising and other campus resources in the Veterans Center
Manage student aides in the Veteran Center (scheduling, payroll, time cards, etc)
Supports Student Veterans Association
Serves as a member of Veterans Taskforce
Performs related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements: Associate of Arts degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirements: Prior programming experience required. Experience working with veterans preferred.
